Catalina Sandino Moreno is a Colombian actress. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Maria Full of Grace.

Sandino was born in Bogotá, Colombia to a pathologist mother and a cattle breeder/veterinarian father. She went to Saint George's School in Bogota where she graduated in 2000. Before becoming an actress, she studied advertising at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. She relocated to New York City in 2004, after she was noticed for her talent at the Rubén Di Pietro acting school in Bogotá. She was then referred to a casting audition for the 2004 film Maria Full of Grace where she beat over 900 girls for the lead role. Sandino's role in this movie made her the second South American and third Hispanic actress nominated for an Academy Award.

Sandino has lived with motion picture electrician David Elwell from 2004 to the present, whom she met working on Maria Full of Grace. She married him on April 15, 2006 in a small ceremony held in Cartagena de Indias.

Elizabeth Ann Reaser is an American film, television, and stage actress. Her work includes the films Stay, The Family Stone, and The Twilight Saga and the TV series Saved, Grey's Anatomy and The Ex-List.

Reaser was born in Bloomfield, Michigan, an affluent Detroit suburb, the daughter of Karen Davidson and John Reaser. Elizabeth was the middle of three sisters. Her stepfather was billionaire businessman William Davidson; her mother Karen became the owner of the Detroit Pistons upon his death. Reaser is a graduate of the Juilliard School. She also attended Academy of the Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills.

Nikki Reed

Nikki Reed, is an American film and television actress and screenwriter. She became known in 2003, after the release of the film Thirteen, for which she co-wrote the screenplay. Reed has since appeared in several films, including Lords of Dogtown and Mini's First Time. She also portrays Rosalie Hale in The Twilight Saga. She reprised her role in the third installment of the series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and will continue her portrayal in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

Reed was born in West Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Cheryl Houston, a beautician, and Seth Reed, a set designer. She has an older brother, Nathan August Reed. Reed's father is Jewish and her mother is of Cherokee and Italian descent; Reed was raised without religion, though she has described herself as "Jewish" and grew up around Judaism (her brother had a Bar Mitzvah).

Reed has stated that her early home life was "complicated." Her parents divorced when she was two, and she grew up with her mother. She describes herself as having been "shy and a bookworm," but at the age of 12, while attending Palms Middle School, she became rebellious and emotionally volatile. The relationship between Reed and her mother became strained. At the age of 14, Reed was emancipated; she then moved out and began living on her own. She had no specific desire to become an actress.
